The roots of the trendy Zamioculcas

Once a start had been made with the Central American Yucca in 1992, the step was then taken to cultivate Zamioculcas in 1995.

With the start of this cultivation, Duijnplant laid the foundations for the success of the popular Zamioculcas. All plant sizes are cultivated on the Harteveldlaan in Honselersdijk, from small cuttings to a lovely plant that can be put straight into your home.

Our nursery produces about 500,000 plants every year.

Under 'care tips' you can see that the Zamioculcas is very easy to care for. This was an important reason for increasing interest in this plant.

Livistona and Cordyline are cultivated at the Duijnplant branch in De Lier. The Livistona comes from Sri Lanka and the Cordyline originates in Brazil. At Duijnplant, these beautiful plants are grown so that you can have a piece of the jungle in your own living room!

We have Cordylines with 4 different leaf colours. They each have their own name: Cordyline Kiwi, Rumba, Tango and Mambo.
